It was delivered with A LOT of DRY, tongue in cheek humor. I particularly liked the line, “Where did the Tom Hardy Wheel OAccents land this time?” That being said, Id have liked him to have a stronger Brit accent in this show. I also STRONGLY disagree with it being another “period piece with a white male anti-hero”. Are you kidding? NOTHING normal about this! Probable incest?! And all of this supernatural/African voodoo in the air?! I love it already and I cannot wait to see how Hardys character gets his revenge! Then again, I am of the opinion that Tom Hardy is one of the finest actors of my lifetime. There is NOTHING he has done that I havent loved! AND, when I saw him in Lawless, I KNEW he could become literally ANYBODY he wants to be!
