Some who bash it this early on don't want it, sure, that speaks for itself. There are those though who say they've waited for twenty years, but admittedly choose to go negative because they're afraid it might let them down like something else has. If you've held out hope that something would still happen after they said there was no chance in hell, then just a hint of very early optimism shouldn't be unrealistic.

No problem here with someone just not being into the idea of a third, but I wish they would be as blunt as you were and just come out and say that. If that's the bottom line, then all this talk about the reasons why they predict it's going to be bad seems kind of pointless to me, because it's not likely they could be won over to begin with.

The only thing that bothers me is the Crystal Skull thing. I just find that to be unfair, since we don't know nearly enough about this yet to punish it for what we thought about that flick.

They're certainly working overtime on every comments section and message board to drill that comparison into people's heads each time a new piece of news comes to light, and this movie isn't even written yet.

I dont even think Bill Murray knows at this point, and i'd personally advise him against it considering the Year One writers are behind this. I never thought i'd see so much anticipation for a Ghostbusters sequel. The second was horrible, what makes anyone think this will be different? I smell Crystal Skull level backlash on the horizon.
