Got a Tip?

‘Better Call Saul’ Season 4 Trailer: Jimmy McGill Is Unemployed And Finds Himself In Over His Head…Again

Just a month before the premiere of the newest season of “Better Call Saul,” AMC has given fans of the “Breaking Bad” spin-off the trailer for the newest season of the show that follows Jimmy McGill on his journey to becoming the criminal lawyer Saul Goodman in the years before he met Walter White.

Over the course of three seasons of “Better Call Saul,” has been a crazy, anxiety-fueled road watching him make this transformation. Now, it seems that full transformation is going to happen.

The new trailer opens up with an unemployed Jimmy, mourning his brother. As Jimmy tries to get back up on his feet and make some cash, he ends up teaming up with Mike on a job and it looks like he’s going to find himself way in over his head.

Here’s the synopsis for Season 4:

In Better Call Saul‘s fourth season, Chuck’s death catalyzes Jimmy McGill’s transformation into Saul Goodman. In the wake of his loss, Jimmy takes steps into the criminal world that will put his future as a lawyer — and his relationship with Kim — in jeopardy. Chuck’s death deeply affects former colleagues Howard (Patrick Fabian) and Kim as well, putting the two of them once again on opposite sides of a battle sparked by the Brothers McGill.

Meanwhile, Mike takes a more active role as Madrigal Electromotive’s newest (and most thorough) security consultant. It’s a volatile time to be in Gus Fring’s employ, as Hector’s collapse sends shock waves throughout the Albuquerque underworld and throws the cartel into chaos — tearing apart both Gus and Nacho’s well-laid plans. While Gus changes course, Nacho finds himself in the crosshairs of deadly forces.

“Better Call Saul” returns to AMC on August 6.
