Star Trek??? It had no melody, just pounding on the keys/string. When the old melody played at the end, it totally pwned the whole original soundtrack.

I'm really, really bad at Name That Tune, but do soundtrack heads (i suppose i should be one, but see above), know what song Abel Korzeniowski seems to be referencing in this "Stillness of the Mind" of the mind track from "A Single Man."

Either he's directly quoting another score piece, doing a full on cover and I just don't realize it (also great with an ear, but terrible with titles), or I'm just crazy.

Help would be appreciated.

When I won the Adventureland soundtrack from you back in March, i put in the car cd changer instantly. It has not left since after numerous rotations. I would venture to say that it is quite possible THE greatest soundtrack of all time. I know that is grandiose, however, to each his own…
