Quite frankly, as a native Texan, that lived in German speaking side of Switzerland for many years, I was very impressed with this film. A lot of people don\’t realize that most of Texas was actually settled by Germans and Swedes. And some went back to their homeland to settle debts and/or get the rest of their families. The film was really well done and I loved how the music was consistent with the metronome.

Yeah, you clearly haven\’t seen many westerns. Hell, I bet you gave Tarantino a positive review for Dango…despite him ripping off and recycling old western stories. This is what happens all the time when a foregin film gets to close for comfort. Also, this is less American and more Italian influenced.

Ms. Jessica Kiang. Your criticism of the film, "The Dark Valley" seems to be about a resentment that the film leaned more toward looking like an American film. Even as far to criticize that an American came to town to save it from tyranny. I for one thought the film excellent and well played.
