Perceptive review that hits the nail on the head about the "Europudding" line of films which could be thought to be extinct by now, but which this film seems to be a new example of. I expected this production to be just that, and your well-done review don't raise any new hopes. Good old Christopher Lee (who just loves to be associated with a stellar cast, and who's done more Europudding than anybody else), Huston, Courtenay and Ganz will make it watchable though.
