Kidman seems to turn down the exciting projects, she would have been great in Von Trier\’s Nymphomaniac but was too busy on Grace of Monaco and it seems she may have passed on top of the lake to do an Adrian Lynne thriller.

I wanted to like this but sadly no. I thought Firth\’s accent terrible and Jude Law just too campy. I actually laughed in a couple of scenes I think were supposed to be serious. I guess we have different tastes. I actually found A Quiet Passion infinitely better. Not as well as I had hoped, but I thought Nixon and Ehle in particular were both on target and while the dialogue a bit stiff, it actually kind of resonated with me after the fact. But Genius, oy, another film I really wanted to like. And why can\’t Nicole Kidman find a decent film project anymore. Good grief.

I think Nicole is an outstanging, excellent and brillianat actress, but I agrre with Ian because it seems that Directors are afraid of her

I feel as if Kidman is wasted too often for someone of that level of talent.
