Erm… Actually, both Cinderella and the Prince recognize each other each time they meet after the first encounter. In fact, Cinderella was quite quick on the uptake when, after meeting the Prince at the Ball, she pretty much immediately realised he was not, in fact, what he presented himself to be earlier. Cinderella was as intelligent as the story possibly allowed her to be. If, well, a complete pushover. But that\’s what Cinderella is, unfortunately.

I don\’t know, Liame, but I am looking forward to a sweet movie and a "Charming" ending. I have heard the Cinderella story a zillion times, but it will be refreshing seeing the beauty in the characters and the costumes . . . it will be a fresh break from the misery on the news and the numerous crime shows on TV. It is a break from the world . . . just like the Oscars–we see it every year, but we enjoy the costumes, corny jokes, and pretty people of it all.
