(Or any other instance of swapping languages.) I don\’t mind. But I\’m always struggling with surrounding details, that the art departments try to recreate the original place, e.g. with newspapers or store fronts, while having everyone talk English. It bugged me in The Book Thief, it bugged me in The Danish Girl, and it will probably bug me here. Particularly when that important letter contains one spelling error and one awful mistake in grammar.
