The picture on this post is absolutely perfect.

Maybe Berg will feel passionate about staying true to the Original Game and simply have two nine year olds (one of them being an alien, because of course) battling it out for an hour and half at someone's mom's kitchen table as a grand metaphor for... something. Battleship is our generation's chess game isn't it? Our generation is sad.

Friday Night Lights is the best sports movie ever made.

The Kingdom is one of the best action thrillers of the decade. Those last 45 minutes are basically a "how-to" clinic on how to construct an action set-piece.

And Hancock, in my estimation, is one of the best superhero movies of all time...one of the ONLY movies in the genre to do something DIFFERENT, edgy, and completely original.

Berg will knock Battleship outta the park.
