All I see is a bunch of people who don\’t understand what kind of film this is. Always comparing things to marvels Disney style take on comic book stories.
commenting on the lack of jokes. Never have batman or superman ever been happy go lucky jokesters. I don\’t get the hate. It\’s weird

ugh and there you have it. I had legit fears that Snyder may mess this up, but when I look at his directing credits, I actually liked (not loved) most of his movies that I have seen, including 300 and Watchmen. I think for BvS he had to do better than he usually does and it\’s sounds like he didn\’t. IMO Snyder is a decent director but not a great one like Nolan and for something this huge it shows.

At the end of the day, I\’ll still go see this, but in like 3-4 weeks when I find the time for it.

Disappointing to say the least.

Honestly I\’ve never agreed with any critic, Most of which are merely film hipsters. Not every movie needs to be a "master piece" it\’s a damn action movie with super hero\’s, come on let\’s watch it for what it is… Explosions and action. It\’s like hearing people who love Mozart critique the beastie boys!

I\’m a casual comic book fan however I find many comic book adaptations some of my favorite movies and television series. Just as a film, the editing and pacing are a mess. Many elements also pulled me out of the superhero experience such as the violence of Batman, aren\’t superheroes supposed to have some sort of code? I will not be bringing my 12 year old nephew to see this film this weekend, it is in my opinion not kid friendly.

Critics…stop it! Let\’s get one thing straight. This is a COMIC BOOK movie!!! Not a film in the running for Best Picture at the Oscars. So based on this one simple reality, this film had everything plus more than ANY comic book movie I\’ve ever seen. It\’s a very dark film so I don\’t think that kids would even understand the concept and message of the movie. I didn\’t bother taking my kids (10 & 5). It\’s got drama (of course) the action was on point, acting was good as well. I will say the structure of the film could have been a little better. It didn\’t flow as smoothly I\’d hoped. It\’s a lot to take in on the 1st viewing. I plan on seeing it again just so I can get a better grasp of the story. Ben as BATMAN stole the show in my opinion!! It almost felt like a Batman movie which was fine by me. If you\’re looking for a movie full of action and comedy go see a Marvel film. This is an adult movie. If there were truly superheros in the world, this is exactly how the public would react.

Toxic would strongly suggest that any of the reviews are going to keep people from seeing the film. We all know otherwise. That said, none of these reviews are surprising and the \’pass the blame\’ game from fans who are disappointed is even less surprising than that.

It\’s a little shocking that Warner Brother would give Zack Snyder the keys to this franchise, based on what? "300" Watchmen, Sucker Punch were financial losers. Zack Snyder makes Michael Bay look like Martin Scorsese. Full disclosure I haven\’t seen this B v S yet, but I\’ve lost all my hopes about this being a good film.

If the point of B vs. S was just a bunch of BS CGI, pointless explosions, and slow-motion American flags, why not just give it to Michael Bay and he can do a Transformers crossover. The difference between art (Nolan), style (Shane Black), and hackery (Snyder).

Isn\’t someone on the movie set paid to point out when the CGI effects look lame? Doomsday looks like an expired tuna casserole with eyes. Surely somebody could have sat down with Zack Snyder and whispered in his ear that the Big Bad looks lame and that he actually has a big enough budget to clean it up a bit, no?

You sure sound pretty self-satisfied. Word of mouth has more to do with the people who pay to see these films (and their potential sequels). The simple fact is it will make money, quite a bit when all is said and done. You\’re really losing integrity by even giving credence to RT or MC.

It\’s a shame that Zack Snyder is ruining the DC comic franchise. There was so much potential in the Batman vs. Superman storyline but his direction was just absolute trash.
