Might I suggest casting, Lea Michelle of "Glee Club" fame for the Gypsy Rose Lee role, get a pert little unknown gymnast for the role of Baby June & maybe Julianne Hough (DWTS fame) for the more mature June Havoc. The Karl Malden role (Bernie?) s/b played by Kevin Spacey. I just read a great book called "American Rose" about the life & times of Gypsy Rose Lee and it s/b mandatory reading for the screenwriter.
