Yes & no. Remember they did have to take *SOME* locations in to account, which will be no different here, (i.e. I *BELIEVE* it was Sir Ian McKellen who said that they filmed things like Gandalf’s arrival @ Hobbiton & The Shire from ‘FELLOWSHIP’ @ the same time as the finale where they all left @ the end of ‘KING’ ) though I’m sure there were reshoots/pick-ups & stuff shots especially for the extended version after the fact, if you follow me. I’m sure that unless the Russos or the MCU ‘pulls a Lucas’ there will be no way to tell what was shot on day 1 versus what they’re shooting as I’m typing this (the schwarma $#+ was done after the ****ING PREMIERE FOR **** SAKE!)

Even with LOTR they filmed mostly one movie at a time (excluding reshoots/pick-ups) with a few weeks to regroup before diving into the next one.

That is entirely possible. HOWEVER there was supposedly TECHNICALLY something like a 6 week hiatus between the filming of the majority of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (that opens on Thursday night) & WHATEVER THE $#!+ they’re going to eventually call ‘AVENGERS 4: THANOS TAKES MANHATTAN'(?) so unlike say the LOTR trilogy this is a bit ‘fudgier’ on the numbers!
