While I believe, like you and many others that the original trials were a circus, a \”crime they didn\’t commit\” is your opinion, and so is \”sexually mutilated\”. Neither of these are findings of fact. The accused were convicted in 1994, then entered a plea of guilty though maintaining innocence for an Alford plea and sentenced to time served a few days ago. They were not released by a judge because they were exonerated or found innocent. Also, the victims were not found to be sexually mutilated or sexually assaulted, and all of the post conviction analyses by pathologists attributed the only child to have injuries that could have indicated a possible sexually motivated injury, to post mortum injuries inflicted by animals. If you would have spent an hour researching the case, you could have written just as an introducing article, though one more truthful and just a tad less salacious.
