I have little respect for a film on Jeff, claiming to be, at it's heart, about the relationship he formed at that concert in NYC, if it totally falsifies and makes up the relationship completely. There was no "Allie" and there was no four day trip with such a made-up person – – but he did form a real, important relationship there. Why lie? How is that respectful to Jeff. People, be wary… live in truth, not some hollywood producer, money-making fantasy.

yeah at first i was wondering what avy kaufman was doing but she is possibly on to something here. it\’s shaping into an interesting ensemble and i suppose penn badgely did something amazing in his audition if they passed on all of the others. but did they pass on reeve carney? he said he \”read\” for it?

I was at the concert and saw RIchard Hell and Jeff Buckley perform. if this film captures even half of that, I will be happy. Granted, I am a bigger Tim Buckley fan, the tribute concert was still one of the most beautiful things I have ever been to and finally someone is sharing it with public.
