She went from 2 back to back critical/financial bombs with Love & Other Drugs and One Day to the go-down-in-history-bad-Oscar-hosting-duties to playing a very believable and likeable Catwoman in a HUGE financial and critical success and may very well be nominated (or win) an Oscar this year. While I'm rooting for Adams to take home the gold, I think it's pretty cool that Hathaway is doing well after so many misguided attempts to become a leading lady/full fledged movie star. My only wish is to see that hack Tom Hooper never make a movie in Hollywood again!
