I wonder WHERE they're aiming to set it? I just hope they mind impact+reasoning for locations/how-when-why filmmakers deliberately reflected the wild. That film was loaded with crystal clear vision. Michod & Co laid the law upon cinema; from point of view to camera work to performances–down to impeccable lion's roar underneath the Sound Design.

It is an inspired choice and a much better one than remaking it (which I'm still expecting will happen to The Square). Would that the original cast was involved but they're all on to bigger things. Although if they got Jacki Weaver to play Smurf Cody, NOTHING would keep me from watching.
