Are you Aussies or something? Aronofsky and Pitt made up a long time ago. In fact when Aronofsky was promoting The Wrestler in 2008 he was asked about what happened with The Fountain and he laughed and said he didn't blame Brad for dropping out because by the time they got ready to shoot the movie he'd made so many changes to it because of all the money the studio threw at him to do a "Brad Pitt movie" that it was no longer the same movie Pitt had signed on to do. Pitt wanted to film the original script, the studio wanted an extravaganza and Pitt elected to walk away. And don't even bother to bring up State Of Play. Pitt had script approval and Universal tried to railroad him into doing a script that Pitt felt still needed work. Uni elected not to wait for the writer's strike to end so more work could be done on the script – as was their right. And look what happened with both of these movies – The Fountain's budget was cut back to the original $40 million and Aronofsky said they ended filming the original script that Pitt had wanted to do in the first place. And State of Play, with Russell Crowe, tanked at the box office and Universal lost a buttload of money on it – and the following year they had to eat dirt because Tarantino wanted Pitt for Inglourious Basterds. In the end Pitt's instincts about both of those movies was better than the studios'.

Something was lost in translation. It says that this will be his [Arriaga's] next project with Angelina Jolie's partnet [Brad Pitt]. I would read it as Brad's life partner, not in this movie co-star. Especially considering Angelina is mentioned literally once in the entire article.
