I love Angelina but I don't think she'd be good for the girlfriend role, she's said before that she wouldn't accept a movie offer if it was just a girlfriend part. I think she's much better suited to be the Reiner – if he was a girl.

Something else to keep in mind – Ridley (& Tony) Scott is good friends with Brad Pitt and has been since Pitt did Thelma & Louise in the early '90s. Most recently the Scotts co-produced, with Pitt, Pitt's The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford in 2005. So there's a long history there with Ridley Scott and Brad Pitt. I wouldn't be surprised to see both Pitt and Jolie turn up in this movie – if scheduling permits.

I hope to god she is not circling the role of Malkina. Yes, she has the physical beauty to pull it off but I'm still not convinced she has the acting chops. I like Jolie when she's playing against type which would mean NO MALKINA. Step away from Malkina. Malkina is reserved! Interestingly enough, Pitt did mention in an interview that Jolie and him were looking to work together again and had a couple of projects in mind. Dear Korean Jesus, please let it not be this film.

Unless Fassbender is going to be cloned, how is he supposed to be in Twelve Years A Slave and this film at the same time as it was reported that Twelve Years was going to start filming in June in Louisiana.

Jolie actually seems like a perfect fit for the other female character, Reiner's girlfirend, but the part won't be a quick cameo.
