Why can't they just let foreign films be! I completely agree with the "La Femme Nikkita"reference, especially since they are making another television show out of it.

However, the original script by Kurtzman and Orci (The Island, MI3, Star Trek) written in 2002 on which the French film is based is friggin awesome.. strange they're readapting it.

Count me as one who will miss this remake. I'm sure it will be on par with the remake of 'La Femme Nikita' and so many other French films remade in Hollywood.

Hopefully not…the original book is pretty standard airport thriller-type stuff. Then again so was Silence of the Lambs…

Michael Apted (gorky park, the world is not enough) was originally meant to direct this before Canet's version.
I wonder if they will go back to the original novel for this as the french film differs a lot from the book.

i believed James Gray worked with Canet on the remake?!
