If Tatum was actually offered the part, than he's your next Captain America. No way he turns this role down. How could he, he's Channing Tatum?

Not to mention that this is shooting around the same time as The Talking Cure with Cronenberg/Mortenson/Fassbender and I would hope that she wouldn't drop out of that for this.

Betsy Ross is the love interest of Bruce Banner/The Hulk and daughter of his nemesis, General 'Thunderbolt' Ross BTW (sorta like the J. Jonah Jameson of the Hulk mythos), so maybe a typo or some sort of mistake in the original source? Caps love interest in the comics has always been Sharon Carter.

So if the role of Captain America gets $300k, how much would the part of Betsy Ross take in?

Keira Knightley seems like she already has the pick of any movie she wants, and is making pretty good use of it, so why would she take a couple hundred thousand for a supporting role in a tentpole?

She probably got several times that amount for a movie that'll carry more weight in 'Never Let Me Go'.
