Aliens is overrated and shlocky. Alien 3 is underrated, not amazing, but it took some risks and it\’s a good looking movie. He\’s correct, the new extended cut of Alien 3 based on Fincher\’s original notes is really kinda good.

Just because AvP grossed more than Alien3 and Alien Ressurection doesn\’t mean it is better than either of those two films (it\’s not). A film\’s quality should never be compared to its box-office results. A lot of film – or \’movies\’ – gain an incredible amount of money, which is increasing baffling (Jurassic World, anyone?). Brett Ratner used the gross of the third X-Men instalment as fighting talk, so there\’s evidence that this nonsense is used by those to defend the shit movies they were involved in.
