Good films and art in general pose questions. It doesn’t spoon feed you answers. People who did’t like Prometheus were mostly people suffering from a lack of imagination.

I want to know all about the history of all this. I couldn’t give a shit about 90% of the Xenomorph/Alien /walking down a dark dripping corridor of dread stuff. We’ve seen it. It was good. Time to move on.

I don’t need to know exact, it’s Ridley Scott, Michael Fassbender, xenomorphs, or whatever they’re calling them this time, Prometheus sequel, 200 million dollar sci-fi, the list goes on, if you’ve got something better to do, then what’s it to ya?

I can decide perfectly well, honeybunch. I just like to read informed criticism beforehand, so I know whether a movie’s likely to appeal to me or not. I bow to your superior intellect, sir, since you clearly know exactly what a movie will be like without reading anything about it.

The reviewer’s intention was probably to hit all your soft spots and lure you, specifically, away from seeing the film, since they already knew you couldn’t decide for yourself whether to go to a movie or not.

You probably don’t recall critics gushing about a movie before they saw it for review. You might however, remember prometheus’ awesome marketing campaign. Also calling a bunch of people who make 50 bucks an article a mafia is priceless.

Becasue most of the liberal critic mafia dont know or care isht about sci-fi or genre movies, they just know about pushing the latest project so that they will get invited to the next one
