Agreed… this series is being put to sleep. Breaks my heart to realize there are now more mediocre to outright crap Alien films than good ones.

Scott’s plan to start shooting the next Alien movie in summer 2018 is extremely unlikely now – it’s more likely that by the time Fox gets around to doing another Alien film Scott won’t be around to direct it and this storyline will be left hanging forever, just like Resurrection.
