When I saw the videos (films) on a PBS station years ago, I thought it was some sort of Monty Python sketch. There were a bunch of guys throwing a bunch of naked mannequins from the back of a truck and into a pit while three women stood on the side of the pit crying. I figured it was one of those sketches I'd get if I just watched long enough.
... After watching for a few minutes I suddenly realized they weren't mannequins.
... I had heard of these films but had never seen them.
... It just kept going and going and going.
...
They say that after a while the film crews stopped filming as they went from camp to camp because it was all exactly the same. At every camp.
... The women on the side of the pit? The troops drug several of the towns people to the pits to watch and the leaders of the soldiers kept saying, "How could you allow this to happen? How?"
...
The documentary doesn't need to be shown. Just show the original clips more times and to more people.
