It's the title. It's your intro to the film. Would I be interested in seeing a film called "Ohio?" Probably not until I'd had a chance to see the trailers. Of course, Mr. Payne having grown up in Nebraska, Omaha to be specific, may be a pull for the state. I live here, too, in Omaha, as a screenwriter and I'm not much of a pull for anything. Maybe it's because I'm not Alexander Payne. But then who is . . . . except, of course, Mr. Payne.

Dear Unnamed test screening audience member- visuals aside, how was the movie? In specific how was Will Forte? I thought it was a brilliant decision to cast him as a dramatic lead when I first heard about it. Is he any good?

I'm glad more top-tier filmmakers in the U.S. are using black & white again. There's not exactly a flood of black & white films right now, but still, that's "Frances Ha," "Much Ado About Nothing," "Frankenweenie" and now this within the past year alone. Would love to see more.

It was shot in color but not on film. They used the Alexa. I was at the test screening last week. The black and white cinematography is gorgeous. Even in its rough form, it's an amazing film. Can't wait to see the final version.
