I don\’t think it\’s terrible. In my opinion it has definitely piqued my curiosity as to how Leto will interpret such an iconic character.

Also I believe you meant to say "as he HAS before in other animated productions."

That\’s the thing, is creatives with substantial statures do not want to adapt a work by another creative of substantial stature, because you are competing with the sizable impression that\’s already been made in the audience\’s mind. Much better to adapt the work of someone of lesser stature, so your own work can shine.

Then again, there\’s also a real possibility Pluto might be re-designated as a full planet. Anyway, I enjoy most (not all) of the dtv/vod DC animated releases and hopefully this one will be worth watching.
