Woodley is being hyped to the levels of Jennifer Lawrence but doesn't have the charisma (or the talent quite frankly) that Lawrence has…not even remotely.

The books are okay. They kind of annoyed me. If the "good guys" got shot in the books, then they were still running around. If the "bad guys" got shot of course it they couldn't do anything… Injuries to the good guys were insignificant. That and being "brave" was synonymous with being a jerk and adrenaline junkie; yet the selfless faction was considered the "lesser" faction. That really bothered me. Hopefully it won't be the glorification of doing dumb "tricks."

Shailene Woodley is pretty overrated in my opinion and I don't know, there is a dullness to her that makes all these stills feel exceedingly underwhelming. Maybe the trailer will change my mind but as of now Divergent looks like a forgettable misfire.

I found her to be nothing special in the otherwise completely over-hyped The Descendants but I'm excited to see The Spectacular Now. I hope she suprises me. However, I think one of the things that has made J Law so popular among the masses is not only THG and SLP but her personality… and Woodley strikes me as someone so… strange? Her interviews are the most awkward things… she talks about the environment a lot which is fine, but comes across as in her own world.
