Yeah and that didnt happen with finchy,wouldve loved to see it but depalma used what he had and its two great flavors that didnt go well together[ellroy and depalma] sadly….

Such an amazing film. Pearce and Crowe deserved Oscars, as well as the film itself.

If backed into a corner, I'd call LA Confidential the best film of the 1990s (and no that's not a knock on Titanic, I love both pictures).
