I don’t feel like I can trust a site who puts London Spy in it’s top 300 shows of the year. Truly execrable, this is the type of pretentious wankery that mistakes slow pacing for depth and a complete lack of a central concept for mystery. It’s only saving grace is some stellar performances.

In reply to SicVita. Yeah, I enjoyed this list a lot, but to cite "San Junipero" as a weaker Black Mirror episode seems odd. It's my favourite episode of any TV show this year.

I’m kind of shocked Mr. Robot didn’t make the list, not even in honorable mention. Also better call saul, I think they are from the best on TV right now (also American Crime, but I think that’s only me), is there a reason they didn’t make the cut?

The Night Manager was James Bond level silly, with supposedly smart people consistently doing incredibly dumb things so that the plot could move forward. Sure was pretty though.

San Junipero a weaker offer? I don’t think so. Not only had it made best of lists for the third season of Black Mirror it’s made Best TV show of 2016 lists.

I am really shocked that I have yet to see a single end of the year list with either Quarry or The Get Down listed. Not saying either was a best of the year, but both were much more deserving than a lot of shows taking up the 15-20 spots.

Bloodline, Bates Motel, Narcos and The Get Down were also amazing and should be on this list.
