I didn\’t want it to end. The writing, performances, editing, POV direction, amazing and outstanding. I loved that so many actors took a cameo role. Its never wasted when an actor knows pate instead of hamburger and goes for it no matter how small the role. Each decision with direction was astounding and I applaud Kenneth Lonergan with this film accomplishment.

I didn't miss anything from the script when I saw the film. In fact, I wish they'd cut more — and I say that as a big fan of You Can Count on Me and Lonergan's plays.

That said, Paquin gave probably the best performance by an actress I saw last year & Ruffalo was excellent as well in the pivotal but small role. Damon's role is rather awkward & he's wasted, double that for Matthew Broderick.
