I was plesantly surprised by the film and it has held up on subsequent viewings. I would also consider adding The Crazies to the list. Like the remake of Dawn of the Dead a few years ago, this film was more than what I was expecting with the direction being a highlight.

Boring, slow pacing, bad acting – not funny when it was trying really hard to be…I can\’t understand what you could possibly see in it.

I love how you proclaim it couldn\’t \”find an audience\” because \”it was dumped in January.\” Maybe the fact that it was terrible and starred Michael Cerad had something to do with it?

Oh well…just glad to finally see a list on the internet that didn\’t try to make a case for \”Kick-ass\” being a good movie.
