I'd be hard=pressed to pick a favorite. Omissions notwithstanding, this is a terrific list with some great films on it, some of which I haven't seen or thought about in ages; some, like "Sun Don't Shine", I've been very curious about. I just realized I do not own "Something Wild" and something must be done about that…STAT!

This list obviously misses: Ascenseur pour l'Ã©chafaud (1958) directed by Louis Malle. Terrific soundtrack from Miles Davis and Jeanne Moreau is stunning, like, always.
