Every nerd is hyping it up as the definitive superhero film but other than having these popular heroes come together on screen there is nothing really ambition or different about it. Hopefully I'm wrong and the trailers are being deceiving but I have little faith for anything marvel, who's batting streak since the first Iron Man has been average.

It's just a cateloge of the different Avengers (each with a brief description – the Hulk as a "guy with anger management problems") and some general comic book movie lines about "being ready" and "not working well with others" (delivered by T. Stark).
