I\’m not so much concerned about what affiliation the author of this is with but this is just plain insulting to COMEDY. Comedy is supposed to be funny. Judging by the predictable and unimaginative jokes in these posters, I\’m not sure if the author even watched these movies and simply Googled the one-sheets and made a guess about what the movies were about.

I hope the Selma poster is being satirical, because calling everyone who dislikes Selma a racist is stupid. It\’s an important and necessary film because of its content, but its execution is lacking. Content isn\’t everything.

When I first started reading Indiewire 3 years ago, I thought it was really great, cutting edge articles and info on films and the industry. However, after seeing the never-ending backside kissing of Seth Rogen and James Franco, the ridiculous pseudo-review Oscar campaign for Jennifer Aniston, and now the bashing of American Sniper, I have realized that is no longer the case. This website can be bought just the same as others have been and the SnarkFest is never ending. For the last time, Chris Kyle was a NAVY SEAL. He saved countless lives through his efforts as a sniper, and it was trust (not poor gun control) that took his life. I really wish you and all your colleagues would grasp the concept that because of soldiers like him, you are able to breathe, speak, and live free. Please cut through your bleeding heart, excessively liberal crap and get that through your thick skulls. Soon.

Great stuff, especially the "American Sniper" poster. A movie about the effect of war on veterans does not have to feature a racist thug as its "hero." Americans are fast to forget they invaded Iraq without cause. The Iraqis were the defenders, not the aggressors.
