If anything, the UK release could done with being LONGER because most of the good (I.e. funny) material seemed to be in the Deleted Scenes section of the DVD. It is very lightweight and has some surprisingly childish and weak humourous material, made-up for slightly by some great comedic performances and January Jones wearing very little.

It's a total non-entity of a film, though. Ironically, a lot of the film is geared towards setting up the cultural and historical context for non-UK residents but they're exactly the kind of people who will not care about this film.

OMG "Judy In Disguise" is a hilariously awful song, I love that they're using it in this movie. I'm a little disappointed by the inclusion of "Whiter Shade of Pale", though; is no one else as sick of that song as I am? Maybe I've seen The Big Chill one too many times.

The US version has been cut by about 15 minutes. On one hand, I can see the point, as the last half hour was a mess and could have been shortened. But the first 90 minutes is a bit too brisk and, judging from the outtakes during the end credits (before they play "Let's Dance") a lot of characterization was left in the editing room.

having seen the movie already (visiting home) I have to say that as cute as I thought it was, I wish it had lived up to the trailer. I would rather have seen them start the whole thing etc in a tighter time frame (they had been on the air for at least a good year by the time we join the party). and then to top it off, the ending kind of comes out of nowhere. they could have done better on that as well
