Glad you have "Thirteen" on your list. I found it practically unwatchable but not because I didn't think it was excellent — I have a daughter and I found this movie extremely disturbing as I thought of her growing up!

4-Thirteen(i do like twilight, but my fav catherine hardwicke movie ever is actulley thirteen)

Oops…you missed two others of Reese Witherspoon that I admire more than "Freeway": "Man in the Moon", and "Fear" (pairing her with Mark Wahlberg). Also, how about "Cruel Intentions", and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's "Mysterious Skin" (a real classic)?

I'm surprised that none of Gregg Araki's films got mentioned, "The Doom Generation", "Nowhere", or I suppose even "Mysterious Skin" could go there. "The Doom Generation" was one of the biggest films for me in terms of rebellion, crazed, and out there.

I\’m glad that West Side Story was also added to the list. Not only does it depict rebellion during the teen years, but it depicts something that is often carried over into adulthood, as well.

Ahhhhh, the 1960\’s! Despite all the turmoil, upheaval, and my relative social isolation as a kid, due to all kinds of things that I won\’t disclose, the 1960\’s was still a cool time to be a teenager. The music, and many movies were great. West Side Story, btw, is still my all time favorite film, hands down, more than 40 years after I first saw the film version of West Side Story, during a big national re-release of it, at around Christmastime of 1968, as a high school Senior, and fell in love with this great classic immediately.

This was an amazing reviews some of the classic movies of all time that is about teen rebellions. I hope i can watch all of this classic movies for me to understand more of this movies been reviewed. The articles are informative but watching this makes me feel complete and satisfied.
