Bitchslap looks ridiculous, but fun, but fun for an entire picture? I'm generally not a huge fan of midnight madness films will tend to be really broad, wild and MONDO CINEMA! It's a bit obvious really. The ozploitation doc I saw at TIFF last year made me want to punch out all of Australia by the end of it. Really obnoxious, but I realize a lot of people like rock n' roll cinema. Personally, I think it's harder to make well-crafted orchestras.

The Guy Maddin short Night Mayor looks amazing. And even 10 minutes of Maddin packs more of a punch than most features.

if we woulda done 15 (ran out of time and space) Ondine and Triage would definitely be on there. Two i really want to see and hopefully Ondine I will see (believe Triage is not playing while i'm there).

I would add "Triage" and "Ondine" to the list. Colin Farrell keeps taking some interesting roles and seems in line for, what is this, a third year of interesting film picks.

Also Jean Pierre-Jeunet's "Micmacs a tire-larigot". I really liked A Very Long Engagment and Amelie, and really need to catch up on his past movies.
