11 TV Series To Watch In March: ‘The Regime,’ ‘Palm Royale,’ ‘3 Body Problem’ & More

Palm Royale
Created by Abe Sylvia, the writer of (“George and Tammy” “The Eyes of Tammy Faye”) and from director Tate Taylor and producer/co-star Laura Dern, the comedy series centers on a woman who works towards attaining a place in Palm Beach high society learning what she will and won’t do to achieve her goal. The series stars Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Leslie Bibb, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, and the legendary Carol Burnett.
Premiere Date: March 20 on Apple TV+.

Manhunt
Created by Monica Beletsky, the series follows Edwin Stanton’s search for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. The series stars Tobias Menzies, Anthony Boyle, Lovie Simone, Matt Walsh, Brandon Flynn, Betty Gabriel, Will Harrison, Hamish Linklater, Damian O’Hare, Patton Oswalt, and Lili Taylor. 
Premiere Date: March 15 on Apple TV+.

X-Men ’97”
The beloved animated “X-Men: The Animated Series” series from the ’90s returns and picks up where it left off via “X-Men ’97,Marvel Animation’s revival with the same animation style and cast of characters. Created by Beau DeMayo, it’s ten episodes long, most of the original voice cast returns, and a second season is being planned. 
Premiere Date: March 20 on Disney+.

3 Body Problem
Netflix puts a big bet on the creators of “Game Of Thrones,” David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, who return with Alexander Woo (“True Blood”) and an adaptation of the sci-fi series of the same name. The series centers on a fateful decision made in 1960s China that reverberates into the present, where a group of scientists partner with a detective to confront an existential planetary threat. Benedict Wong, Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, Eiza González, John Bradley, Alex Sharp, Jonathan Pryce and Liam Cunningham star.
Premiere Date: March 21 on Netflix.

We Were the Lucky Ones
Logan Lerman and Joey King star in the drama series “We Were the Lucky Ones,” which follows a Jewish family who, after being separated at the start of World War II, fight to survive and reunite. Based on the book of the same name by Georgia Hunter, the series created and written by Erica Lipez and directed by Broadway director Thomas KailHenry Lloy Hughes, Amit Rahav, Hadas Yaron, and more also star. 
Premiere Date: March 28 on Hulu.

A Gentlemen in Moscow
Created by Ben Vanstone, a Russian aristocrat is spared from death and placed on house arrest while the Bolshevik Revolution plays out before him. Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead star alongside Johnny Harris, Leah Harvey, Paul Ready, Alexa Goodall, and Fehinti Balogun.
Premiere Date: March 29 on Showtime with Paramount+.
