Just saw this last night. Agreed with everything you say here. Next to The Grey, it was the biggest surprise for me so far this year. I did not expect to like it so much. It really comes down to the poking-fun-at-itself tone which really sets it apart from comedies like this.

21 Jump Street was a must see for me, considering my last name is Tatum. But I laughed and enjoyed the movie so much, I don't guess names matter. Tatum and Hill really pulled it off, and made me laugh so much it was worth the price!~!! I hope they do go to college, and a frat that deals in everything would be a good starting place. Tatum and Hill would just have to take the hazing to be allowed into the Frat. I see a great comedy if Hill and staff can pull it off.

Fantastic movie. Like Hot Fuzz a non-stop roller coaster of laughs and action. Can't wait for the sequel
