Sinister is one of the best horror movie in years! I would say that script should instil some confidence – scary movies are almost never scary anymore.

Keep an eye out for both The Invisible Woman and The Railway Man, both scripts are strong and early screenings were encouraging, these films can find a foothold in the Awards race. Felicity Jones, Kirstin Scott Thomas, Firth and Sanada are all names that could feature. Fiennes's Coriolanus was well received at Academy screening a few years back despite the lack of nominations so there's a lot of buzz surrounding his direction.

Jean-Pierre Jeunet's "The Young and Prodigious Spivet" oddly is world-premiering and closing the San Sebastian Film Festival at the end of September. A short 2 weeks before the film's release in France. There's been no buzz, leaks, news over this film since the teaser that came out during Cannes. Weinstein Co bought US rights but doesn't look like it will be released in 2013.
